Footnote
Life is found in footnotes.
We tend to catch the big details. Bold print and blockbusters. Features. We catch the things that are too big to miss, and most of us are too busy to do much else. We skim the headlines and catch the highlights.
But life, real life, spins on a small scale. It's scattered in between the headings and rushed in on the bottom of the back page. It's short. It's small. And it's where life happens.
Footnote* is a show about small stories. The people who have them, and the places they live. It's about the little things that would never make headlines but could never be forgotten. It's about people's extra details and margins that only they know. It's about their footnotes.
With every episode, we find people and tell their stories as creatively and honestly as we can. And, with every episode, we try to find the footnotes to our own lives. We want to know what this story says about our story, and we're trying to find what, in the little details, unites us all.
