The Big EXO Day 2010 is nearly here and the excitement is rising. This one-day all ages youth festival is a drug & alcohol free event and is expected to draw over 10,000 young people.

This year’s event is set to blow the audience away with performances from Evermore, Stan Walker, Texan’s Oh Sleeper and many more. But this festival does not just bring you great music from Australia and around the world. The Big EXO Day 2010 features a variety of world class entertainment including pro skaters, FMX, DJs, street dance teams, BMX, wakeboarding, social justice projects, markets, snowboarding, surf shaping, fashion shows and a massive main stage variety concert to cap the evening.

Exo Day started with one student in 1998 who wanted to put on an event at their school to show their fellow students that life is about so much more than the issues that face students across the globe. More schools came on board and by 2001 a combined Exo Day was birthed. Today there are hundreds of schools involved in School Exo Days all pushing and leading up to the climactic event at the Sydney Showgrounds on September 18th, 2010. Twelve years in school and nine years combined as a festival and the rest, as they say, is history.
